Workshops & Engagement

Civic Projects collaborated with the Chicago Torture Justice Center to hold a summer workshop series called “Resilience for Justice & Healing.” Participants in these sessions used photography to help them cultivate resilience and reflect on the trauma that results from over-policing in their communities. The summer culminated in a public photography exhibit shown at Experimental Station in Woodlawn.
